Montebelo Hotel and Spa, Location

Many attractions are on hand at Montebelo Hotel. Golf lovers can make use of Montebelo golf course located between Serra do Caramulo and Serra da Estrella. This 27 holes golf course has been used by national and international players since 1987.

Viseu Cathedral construction began in the 12th century but its current façade was erected in the mid 17th century. This cathedral is fitted with stones sculptures embedded in six niches.

Cava do Viriato can be found in a tree lined park. It used to be an encampment for imperial legions and housed a big cattle collection for Lusitanian people.

Viseu municipal library opened in 2002. It is located at Rua Aquilino Ribeiro. This library is closed on Sundays and bank holidays.
